The front room of a listed building in Upton High Street is to become a shop.
District planners said 17 High Street in Upton Upon Severn was likely being returned to its historic function and that no alterations were being made to the building.
Worcestershire Highways had no objection to the plan and Upton Town Council was in favour of it.
Malvern Hills District Council’s conservation officer said any signage required for the shop may require further permission.
