The enthralling story of the Morgan Motor Company will be told in a talk at a Malvern bookshop.
Rossiter Books will have Martyn Webb, the archivist at the automobile brand, to share its captivating history.
The talk will take place on April 4 at 7pm.
Mr Webb has held his position since 2009 and is eager to discuss the journey of the company.
From its initial production of basic, yet profitable cyclecars during the Edwardian era, to the classic British sports cars in the 1960s.
He notes Morgan’s resilience in navigating financial challenges and dodging attempts of acquisition, all while persisting in their unique craftsmanship of ‘proper’ cars in the picturesque Malvern.
Mr Webb's book, Morgan – An English Enigma, offers a deep dive into the Morgan Motor Company during the vintage and classic periods.
It uncovers unseen documents and drawings and boasts over 500 images, the majority being published for the first time.
It is expected to charm not only motoring history fans, but also motor sport enthusiasts and connoisseurs of classic British sports cars.
Tickets, priced at £6, are available from Rossiter Books in-store, on 01684 368 817 or via Ticketsource.
£3 of the ticket fees will offer a discount on the book at the event.
