A National Trust property in Worcestershire has been given permission to build a compost storage compound.
The trust wants to build the compound to help its gardeners maintain landscape gardens surrounding Croome Park, near Severn Stoke.
The compound will be located in a part of the estate already fenced off from visitors and form part of a service area used by the National Trust garden team.
Malvern Hills District Council planning officers said the compound would not have a substantial visual impact on the surrounding landscape, nor would it impact on the site’s historic buildings.
