Churches in Malvern have thrown their support behind a charity sending help to Gaza.
At a gathering on Sunday, January 21 at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Church Unity Week saw Malvern Churches Together choose to support Ecumenical Charity, Friends of the Holy Land.
The collection, led by the Bishop of Worcester, Rt Revd Dr John Inge, raised £602.86.
FHL has arranged that the sum has been put to use at the Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza within 72 hours of the donation being made, providing medicines and generator fuel.
