A FOOD bank has thanked everyone for "generous donations" after a busy spell around the festive period.
Malvern Hills Food Bank, based in Spring Lane South, revealed it had handed out many Christmas parcels and hefty amounts of food and household items.
A spokesperson said on Facebook: "Thank you to all who supported us in the run-up to Christmas.
"We were able to provide more than 180 Christmas parcels in the three weeks before Christmas and over 8,000kg of general food and household items.
"Thank you for all your generous donations."
