Drink drivers have been arrested in Malvern and Evesham as part of a crackdown by police.
Officers in south Worcestershire have been taking part in the national Operation Limit campaign, which is targeting drink and drug driving over the festive season.
Between 11pm on Friday, December 8 and 5am on Saturday, December 9, five drink drivers were arrested by Malvern and Evesham patrol teams D and C.
“Drugs can impair your ability to drive safely, making you drowsy, affecting reaction times, coordination, concentration or vision,” said a West Mercia Police spokesperson.
“If you have drugs in your system (check with your doctor for over the counter prescriptions), don’t mix this with driving.”
