POLICE officers in Malvern may have just won the most inventive Christmas decoration award for 2023.
PC Dave Olczak posted an image on the @malverncops X (Twitter) account, showing a makeshift vent with the iconic John McClane from the film Die Hard appearing inside - which an officer made at home to bring into work.
The post said: "Christmas decorations going up in Malvern police station, including this decoration made by one of our officers at home, remembering the brave actions of officer John McClane in 1988."

For those who have not seen the film, Die Hard follows a New York City police officer trying to save his estranged wife and several others taken hostage during a Christmas party at the Nakatomi Plaza in Los Angeles.
Since the film was released, Christmas fanatics have long debated Die Had's status as a 'Christmas film', but it seems the Malvern police officers may have revealed their stance.
