A POPULAR festive event with a light trail, ice skating and chances to meet Santa Claus has opened its doors to kick off the Christmas season.
Winter Glow, at The Three Counties Showground, kicked off its new season on Friday, November 24.
The opening weekend saw thousands of families visiting, with a host of Christmas themed experiences on offer.

There is also a chance to skate along to Christmas classics on the all-weather ice rink, and also visit the festive fair.
Chris Gage, senior manager at Winter Glow, said: "We're delighted to have opened the doors
to the region's very own Christmas wonderland.
"Opening weekend was a huge success and it was incredibly special to kickstart the festive season for thousands of families across the Three Counties.
"With many more guests due to join us over the next six weeks, it's set to be the most magical
Christmas yet.
"Plus, there are still limited tickets available for local families who haven't secured their
spot yet."
The personalised Santa's Grotto Experience transports groups of up to eight to a magical world to meet the man himself.
Visitors to the festive fair can can try the Santa's Crazy Circus Fun House, and hop aboard Santa's Runaway Train.
Entry to the fairground and Christmas market area is free and does not require a pre-booked ticket.
