Great Malvern’s Christmas tree has been installed on Belle Vue Island.
The tree, which was donated by Leigh Sinton Farm and Nurseries, has taken pride of place in time for this weekend’s big lights switch-on.
It was installed by Malvern Town Council’s operations team and dressed by the council’s lighting contractor ALB Services.
Great Malvern’s Christmas lights are being switched on at 6pm on Saturday (November 25) after a parade has made its way to Belle Vue Island from the Priory.
Malvern Theatres panto stars Katie McGlynn and Mark James will do the honours and there may even be an appearance by Father Christmas himself.
Malvern mayor Clive Hooper said he is looking forward to the day and will be raising money for his chosen charity for the year, St Richard’s Hospice.
