A festival of theatre is returning to Malvern next month.
FEAST Theatre Festival takes place November 6-12 and will feature award-winning comedy, dance, cabaret, workshops and family experiences.
Now in its seventh year, the festival’s main hub is Malvern Cube Community and Arts Centre.
This year FEAST will spill out to venues all over the town including the OCC (Old Con Club), Elmslie House and Priory Park.
Over the course of the week, Reaction Theatre Makers invite you to ‘feast’ on a wide range of performances designed to challenge, move and inspire.
FEAST has become a place of exciting, stimulating and engaging work where people can learn, be entertained and share ideas.
Organisers describe it as a melting pot of creativity with the heart of a small community strengthened by the presence and input of nationally recognised artists.
Chris Thorpe is performer, writer, activist and host of last year’s ‘FEAST of Thought’ event, a three course meal prepared by Malvern Green Space from food that would alternatively go to waste.
He said: “There's a genuine sense of engaging with all sections of the community across all age ranges.”
This year’s FEAST of Thought will be delivered to an audience of 50 diners and hosted by award-winning comedian Lucy Hopkins.
The line-up for 2023 also includes: Sam Ward, Jo Fong/Rachel Freeman, Harriet Dyer, Rosa Faye Garland, Aby Watson, Tammy Reynolds, Strange Futures, Lewis Holt, Enter Edem, Adam Blake, Emma Bourke and Ildikó Rippel.
As well as ticketed events, look out for free workshops.
