A SUSPECTED car key burglar accused of stealing two cars in Malvern has been named by police.
Jake Harbourne, of no fixed abode, has been charged with three burglaries in total, two of which were car key burglaries in Malvern.
The 40-year-old was further charged with two thefts of motor vehicles - the cars stolen in the alleged car key burglaries.
Car key burglaries involve an offender breaking or entering a home or commercial premises to obtain keys before using those keys to steal a car or other vehicle.
One of the burglaries took place in Worcester Road, Malvern on May 4 and the other in Church Road, Malvern on May 25.
Cars were taken from both those addresses, West Mercia confirmed today.
Harbourne was also arrested on suspicion of a third burglary on May 8 in Pinewoods Avenue, Hagley.
He is in custody and is due to appear at Worcester Crown Court on Monday, November 13.
