An annual walk that has raised more than £170,000 for charity over 25 years will be taking place on the Malvern Hills next weekend.
The trek in aid of Cancer Research UK will take place on Saturday, October 7 starting from Mill Pond on Hollybed Common.
Walkers will have a choice of a six, nine or 11 mile route.
Since its inception in 1999 the walk has raised more than £170,000 for the vital work of cancer research.
It is organised by the Malvern Local Committee of Cancer Research UK.
Organiser Ray Worth, said: "We have a number of regular walkers who come every year but new faces are always welcome. Because this is our 25th walk we have introduced a number of new features.
"One of these is to ask a number of local organisations to each sponsor a marker for a suggested donation of £25.
"One firm which has responded positively is Britannia Bennetts of Malvern. They will be sponsoring four markers as well as taking part in the walk.
"We have also had support from A Plan Insurance, Austin & Co, Barnards Green Post Office, AT Bird, Colcards, Denny & Salmon, Foley Arms Hotel, Freedom Leisure, Malvern Hills Hotel, Rhubarb Home, Sally's Place and Westbridge Foods."
Mr Worth continued: "We are grateful for all the support we are getting from the local community.
"Please join us on October 7 and help us to raise money for the vital work being carried out for Cancer Research UK."
