THERE was a police presence in a Malvern road after a hand grenade was discovered.
Police were called to Moat Crescent on Saturday, (September 16).
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "We were called to Moat Crescent at around 1.45pm on Saturday following the discovery of a hand grenade.
"A cordon was put in place as a precaution.
"Experts from Explosive Ordnance Disposal attended and the grenade was made safe."
Our reporter visited the road in Pound Bank on Saturday, following reports the road was closed - but police had left and the road had reopened by around 4.30pm.
