Two people from Worcestershire have died following a crash near the M50.
The crash happened on the A38 north of junction 1 of the M50 last night (Friday, September 15).
The incident, which involved a blue Volkswagen Golf and a horse-and-trap, happened at around 11.35pm.
Two men, both from Worcestershire, who were riding in the trap, and the horse were declared dead at the scene.
Gloucestershire Police said the coroner has been informed.
No other people were believed to have been injured in the collision.
Closures remain in place at the junction and towards Upton while a full investigation into the circumstances is carried out.
Anybody who may have been in the area at the time is being asked to come forward and speak to police.
