POLICE said they have had no reports of two men attempting to abduct a child in Malvern.
Officers have responded after a post made in a Facebook group caused concern.
The original post was titled: "Warning to parents of Poundbank."
The poster, who remained anonymous, claimed a white van with two men in, pulled up and tried to grab her daughter.
"Police have been called but sadly could not get the reg (registration) number. They are searching for the van."
However, Malvern Cops said officers have not been made aware of the alleged incident.
They said: "We have been made aware of the below post that is on the Malvern Hills Notice Board.
"We are unaware of such a report. If anyone has any further information or can provide us with the incident number please get in touch. Thank you."
