The police are asking people to only call 999 or 101 if it’s urgent.
West Mercia Police says it is experiencing a high volume of calls to both its emergency and non-emergency numbers.
This is resulting in long wait times for people on the phone.

The force is asking people reporting anything that isn’t urgent to use its website - www.westmercia.police.co.uk.
