TWO men have been arrested after a foot chase through a popular park.
The men, both in their 20s, were arrested in Victoria Park by Malvern officers on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.
A picture of two police cars at the park was posted by the Malvern Cops Twitter account.
PC Dave Olczak said: "Officers were already in the area conducting a search for two men matching their description after a report of suspicious activity was called in by a member of the public shortly before they were spotted by the officers.
"On seeing the Police, one of the men ran off in the direction of Victoria Park, down side roads away from Worcester Road.
"An officer chased the man and caught up with him at the side of Victoria Park. Officers then caught the second male less than 100 yards from the first male, on Victoria Park.
"Both men were detained for the purpose of a stop search before both being arrested for possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply. The two men are currently in custody and being dealt with by CID officers."
