Drivers in and around Malvern Hills will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M50, from 6.44pm March 7 2023 to midnight, January 1 2026, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M50 both directions jct one to jct two, no full closure in this location without approving the diversion.
And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A40, from 10pm July 13 to 6am July 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 11 to 9 - carriageway closure for central reservation works, junction 11 diversion via A40, A38 and A438 to re-join at M5, junction 9, junction 10 diversion via A4019, A38 and A438.
• A40, from 9pm July 17 to 6am July 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5, junction 9 to 11 southbound, carriageway closure for central reservation, diversion A438, A38 southbound, A40, M5 J11 entry.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
