A Ledbury-based author will be signing copies of her new book in Malvern’s newest bookshop.
Award-winning crime writer Sarah Hilary will be appearing at Rossiter Books in Church Street to talk about her new book Black Thorn.
The event takes place on Wednesday, July 26 at 7pm.
Black Thorn is a compulsive psychological thriller that questions how much we know about the people who live next to us.
Fellow crime writer Ann Cleeves said: “In Black Thorn a small piece of the world collapses – metaphorically, literally and emotionally.

Sarah’s debut novel, Someone Else’s Skin, won the Theakstons Crime Novel of the Year.
Sarah is Programming Chair for St Hilda’s Crime Fiction Weekend in Oxford, and co-founder of Ledburied, a crime writing festival held in Ledbury.
She is also a fellow at the University of Worcester, having joined last September as part of the Royal Literary Fund Fellowship scheme, which aims to place professional writers in higher education institutions to offer writing support to all students.
Tickets to the Rossiter Books event cost £6 and can be bought in store at 5 Church Street, Malvern (01684 368 187) or via Ticketsource.
£3 of the ticket price is redeemable against the book at the event.
