A FIRE involving rubbish and vegetation near a residential road was tackled by a fire crew.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called out to a fire in the open in a walkway off Moat Crescent, Malvern, at 12.30am on Sunday, May 21.

A spokesperson said: “A crew from Malvern Fire Station attended to find a small fire involving rubbish and vegetation had been extinguished by a resident.
“The crew dampened down and checked the area using one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera.
“They left the scene at 12.57am.”
