COMMUTERS have been experiencing long delays as roadworks start on a busy Malvern road.
There is slow-moving traffic in both directions on Worcester Road from the roundabout to the Pickersleigh Road junction, according to the AA.
The two-way traffic lights in place on the road had also led First Worcester to cancel the 44 service stop at Isobel Harrison Gardens in both directions.
Neighbouring roads like Townsend Way, Pickersleigh Road, Howsell Road, Richmond Road, Pickersleigh Avenue, Spring Lane and Lower Howsell Road are also affected.
Open Reach is currently carrying out utility repair and maintenance works.
A spokesperson for First Worcester said: "Due to temporary traffic lights on Worcester Road, Great Malvern, the 44 service is unable to serve the bus stops at Isobel Harrison Gardens on both sides of the road today and tomorrow. Apologies."
Road works are expected to finish on Worcester Road on May 18 at 7pm.
