A family festival that describes itself as “cool, niche and relaxed” returns to Upton later this month.
Mello Festival will be the second big festival to take place in the town this month, following the success of Upton Folk Festival.
But this event brings very different vibes, with a host of household names taking on the bill and dedicated house and reggae stages.
Who is playing Mello Festival 2023?
JLS singer Aston Merrygold was one of the last names added to the bill and joins pop acts including Blue, Fleur East, The Hoosiers and Rebecca Ferguson, who performed at the Eurovision semi-finals this week.
90s rockers Reef, Newport’s finest Goldie Lookin’ Chain, Sandi Thom, Huey Morgan, Brit Pop royalty Dodgy, Andy Bennett and The Funk Masters will also grace the main stage.
DJs Danny Rampling, Dave Pearce and Brandon Block headline the House Nation stage, while the Reggae & Rum stage will feature MC Ranks, Ruff Trade and Kingsley & The Big Fish Band.
What else is on?
There will be plenty to keep the whole family entertained at Mello Festival, including a food village, shopping, workshops, kids’ inflatables, circus skills, a motorbike stuntshow and belly dancing.
When and where is Mello Festival?
The festival will take place from May 26 to 28, across the bank holiday weekend.
