POLICE officers from Worcestershire are being sent to London to work during King Charles III's Coronation.
Officers from West Mercia Police are being sent to London to help in the security operation during the historic Coronation.
Police have not confirmed how many officers will be heading to the capital ahead of the Coronation.
However, a spokesperson reassured people that officers will still be able to provide a core service to the communities they serve.
A spokesperson said: "We do have officers supporting the policing operation for the Coronation.

"We aren’t confirming numbers in advance of the operation but rest assured we have plans in place to ensure we are able to support the policing operation for the coronation while continuing our core service to the communities we serve.
"The policing operations for the Coronation are led by the Met, Thames Valley Police and Essex Police and supported by the NPCC so it’s not our place to comment on their operations."
