AN E-scooter will be destroyed after the driver failed to show officers proof of insurance after driving on the roads.

The man was driving on roads around Elgar Avenue and failed to stop driving when police asked.

Officers chased the man and seized the e-scooter after and the vehicle is likely to be destroyed.

 

A spokesperson from West Mercia Police said: "We seized this e-scooter being ridden on the roads around Elgar Avenue.

"The rider failed to stop but officers were on bikes and caught up with the rider. He could not provide any proof of insurance, so the vehicle was seized and will likely be destroyed."
