A WOMAN has been injured after a moving vehicle struck a parked vehicle in Malvern.

West Mercia Police attended a crash on Priory Road alongside West Midlands Ambulance Service earlier this morning.

Malvern Cops tweeted an image at 1.18pm showing a recovery vehicle at the scene of the crash.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We were called to Priory Road in Malvern shortly after 11.45am this morning following a two-vehicle collision.

"It is believed a moving vehicle struck a parked one.

"One person was injured and received treatment from the ambulance service.

"The road was closed for a short time to allow the vehicles to be recovered.

"No arrests have been made."

Malvern Cops tweeted that the road had reopened at 1.26pm.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said that a woman was taken to hospital after the crash.

They said: "We were called to reports of an RTC on Priory Road in Malvern just before 11.20am.

"One ambulance was sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews discovered one car had been involved in a collision. 

"he driver, a woman, was treated for minor injuries by ambulance staff before being taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment."
