See who has been in the dock at Worcester Magistrates Court

Persistent criminal Connor Weston has been jailed after his latest theft offences. 

Among the items Weston, of Canterbury Road, Ronkswood, Worcester, stole were Jack Daniel, tobacco and bottles of alcohol. 

The 24-year-old dad was warned in January by a magistrate if he committed another offence in 2023 he could expect to jail, but ignored that warning. 

Weston showed no emotion as he was led down to the cells.

Prolific thief Thomas Allen was banned from entering Marks & Spencer in Worcester city centre after stealing coats from the store. 

We previously reported the 38-year-old had turned to God in an attempt to stop his offending but in February he committed his latest offences. 

Allen of Cherwell Court, Worcester, has more than 40 previous convictions on his record. 

Allen was fined and told he could not enter the store for a year.

David Ashbery, of Gresham Road, Worcester, admitted stealing from three Worcester shops and from a shop in Wythall, near Redditch, when he appeared at the court.

The court heard the 41-year-old committed the offences at Co-op stores last year. 

Ashbery was given a two-year conditional discharge.

CASES: The cases recently heard at Worcester Magistrates Court

Drink driver Carl Waters, of Dowling Drive, Pershore, told police he had only had one pint after being caught drink driving. 

The court heard the 35-year-old was caught committing the offence in a Ford Transit in Worcester Road, Malvern, at 9pm on February 8 this year. 

Waters' evidential sample was 61mcg in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. 

He was disqualified from driving for 17 months.
