An unusual donation to Malvern Hills Food Bank has highlighted the charity’s need for cleaning products as well as food.
Hanley Swan Cafe Market delivered a number of plastic-free, environmentally-friendly cleaning products called bio pods to the Spring Lane South charity.
The bio pods are small sachets that are added to water and used in a spray bottle, using no synthetic chemicals.

They are produced in Wales by Keep It Mack, which gave a significant discount on this order to demonstrate its support for the foodbank.
A spokesperson for Malvern Hills Food Bank said: “MHFB appreciates this donation, as with all donations.
“It illustrates the need for clients to be given not just food, but cleaning products and hygiene items.”
