There has been a change of venue for an orchestra’s upcoming show.
Worcester Philharmonic Orchestra were due to perform their Spring Concert this weekend at Pershore Abbey.
However, due to delays with the installation of the Abbey’s new pipe organ, the show has been moved to Number 8, on Pershore High Street.
Conducted by Joe Davies, the orchestra will be joined by soloist William Hammond on Saturday, March 11, in a performance of Weber’s Clarinet Concerto No 2.
Hammond received a Distinction in Instrumental Performance Postgraduate Certificate from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
He has recently worked with the Hanover Junges Orchester and Cumbrian Opera Group, alongside playing for the Welsh National Opera’s outreach project ‘Opera Tutti’ based in the West Midlands.
The concert starts at 2.30pm with tickets priced at £15 from ticketsource.co.uk and tourist offices in Worcester, Pershore and Malvern.
