A MALVERN pub is to start fund-raising for a unique charity shop.
A music night at the Bluebell Inn will raise funds for Amaze, in Belle Vue Terrace.
And the pub’s regular Wednesday night quiz will also fundraise for Amaze - just as soon as quizzers have finished helping another good cause.
We reported recently how quizzes at the Bluebell Inn, in Barnards Green, had raised more than £15,000 for charity in the past two years.
Quizmaster Steve Rowan and more than a dozen teams who take part every week are currently raising funds for Acorns Children’s Hospice.

When they reach their target figure of £3,000, that money will be donated and the quiz night will start being in aid of Amaze.
“We’ve raised about £1,500 so far so by the end of March, we should be getting to our target,” said Steve.
“But this Friday is the first live music event at the Bluebell this year, so I talked to the managers who have decided to make it a one-off fundraiser for Amaze.
“We have a great local band coming called Mel & Him and Chris from Amaze has donated half a dozen raffle prizes for the night.”
Amaze hires homeless, disadvantaged and vulnerable people to rework donations from members of the public into unique pieces of art, which are then sold in its shop in Great Malvern.
Chris Lee, who runs the shop and workshop with partner Polly Reehal, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Steve and the team at the Bluebell Inn for thinking of us - and for the kindness of the community.
“We’re looking forward to a relaxed, fun night - and it’s good music, too.”
Steve said he hoped his quiz nights, which have already helped charities including Malvern Special Families, Malvern Foodbank and Little Princess Trust, would raise £10,000 in total this year.
The music night takes place this Friday (February 24) at 8pm.
