MALVERN Civic Society is looking for the best new or renovated building in the town.
Every year, the society takes recommendations for buildings, quiet areas and children’s playgrounds that have enhanced Malvern or the surrounding area.
If a project has stood out to you, now’s your chance to give it some recognition.
Nominations can be made by emailing awards@malverncivicsociety.org.uk with a few details such as location, architect, builder etc.
The deadline for nominations is March 31 and projects should have been completed by the end of December, 2022.
Last year’s winner was Windsor Court, a care home in Lansdowne Crescent that judges said “blends in beautifully” with the heritage of nearby buildings.
Station House, the former stationmaster’s house at Malvern Link station, won the 2020 Civic Award. No award was made in 2021, with four nominations given highly commended certificates instead.
The society’s small committee will discuss this year’s nominations and a Malvern Civic Society Award plaque will be awarded to the winner at the Midsummer Malvern Celebrations in June.
