A MALVERN pub has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
The New Inn, in Lower Howsell Road, was given the score after assessment on January 17, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
It means that of Malvern Hills's 68 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 44 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
Spice Cottage Restaurant in Fir Tree Walk, Worcester Road, has been given a one-star rating.
But owner Shahin Ahmed says improvements have been made and is awaiting a re-inspection date.
