An award-winning Elvis tribute is among the acts added to the 2023 line-up of one of Worcestershire’s biggest festivals.
Sunshine Festival, which takes place in Upton Upon Severn on the August bank holiday weekend, has already announced a number of household names.
Ronan Keating, Marc Almond, The Proclaimers, Cutting Crew, China Crisis, Dr & The Medics and Bad Manners will all be playing Upton’s Fish Meadow between August 24-27.
Among the tribute acts set to play Sunshine Festival is Emilio Santoro - an award-winning Elvis Pressley tribute.
Emilio, a 19-year-old from Weston Super Mare, is the winner of the 2022 European Elvis Championship.
He also won the People’s Choice Award at the 2022 Niagara Falls Elvis Festival, is the current Images of the King Professional World Champion and has triumphed at Blackpool’s Return to Memphis competition.
America's Got Talent
Emilio even performed in the final of America’s Got Talent last year, as a synthetic, deepfake Elvis singing alongside a virtual Simon Cowell.
Other top tribute bands added to the bill include Who’s Next, a band described as the number one live tribute to The Who.
Who’s Next recreates a point in the 1970s when some believe The Who were the greatest rock and roll band on earth. They’ll be playing the Westons Stage on the festival’s Saturday night.

One of the most popular acts from this year’s festival will also be making a return, Barrioke.

Shaun Williamson, better known as Barry Evans off Eastenders, will lead the crowds in some sing-a-longs.
The Human League, Squeeze, Level 42 and Dr Hook were just some of the names to join Barry at the 2022 edition of Sunshine Festival.
They were joined by more than 100 acts over the course of the weekend, with circus performers, motorcycle display teams and inflatable obstacle courses on offer for those looking for a break from the music.
