Comedian Sarah Millican is bringing her latest stand-up show to Malvern next year.
Millican, who starred in the most recent series of Taskmaster, will play Malvern Theatres on her ‘Late Bloomer’ tour.
In the show, she explores how she went from being a quiet, shy young girl to becoming the confident, successful comedian she is today.
The show also promises “lots of stuff about dinners and lady gardens”, too.
Millican won the best newcomer award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2008 for her debut show ‘Sarah Millican’s Not Nice’.
Her second and third Edinburgh shows also earned high praise, and Millican soon became a regular on our TV screens, appearing in panel shows including 8 Out of 10 Cats, Mock the Week and QI.
She was nominated for 2013 and 2014 BAFTAs for The Sarah Millican Television Programme and has released multiple DVD specials of her sold-out stand-up tours.
More recently, Millican featured in season 14 of Taskmaster, a series she says she enjoyed filming.

“It’s quite a solitary job being a stand-up, so doing this was like having a gang,” she told PA.
“I was never in a gang – of course I wasn’t, look at me! So just being in a room with other comics was brilliant.
“We’d all have a drink afterwards with the crew and all the comics ended up in a little gang together and everybody else was mixing.
“It’s just the way we are, we all just hone in on each other. So just working with other people was really nice.”
Sarah Millican’s Late Bloomer tour comes to the Forum Theatre on September 23, 2023.
The show starts at 8pm and tickets are £39.76, available via the Malvern Theatres website. There is a maximum of four tickets per customer.
Malvern Theatres has a wide range of shows planned for 2023, including a live broadcast of The Royal Opera performing The Barber of Seville on February 15.
The Sound of Springsteen, a tribute to The Boss himself, comes to Malvern on May 11. The show promises a mix of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s greatest hits and deep cuts.
