A festive sing along is taking place at a Malvern church in the run up to Christmas.
The town’s annual Charity Christmas Concert is being held on Saturday, December 17 from 1.30pm at Christ Church on Avenue Road.
Organised by Malvern Town Council in partnership with Malvern Hills District Brass Band, the concert will include traditional carols, popular Christmas songs and music from the movies all performed by Malvern Hills District Brass Band and The Hills Singers.
The mayor of Malvern Nick Houghton said: “It’s great that we can bring back the Charity Christmas Carol this year.
“There will be mince pies, Christmas songs to sing along to and of course one or two Guide Dogs as we are raising funds for the Guide Dogs as my mayoral charity for the year.
“The dogs coming will not be working, so with owner permission look forward to a pat and hello from you.”
Tickets are £5 per adult and children under 16 years are free of charge. All proceeds from the event will be shared equally between the mayor’s charity for this year, Guide Dogs, and in support of Malvern Hills District Brass Band.
Tickets are available from the town council website.
