CAST members from series one and two of Channel Four's hit dating show Married at First Sight are set to feature in a festive Christmas reunion.

But it appears George Roberts, who is a financial adviser from Worcester, has decided not to join the cast for a Christmas meal in a swanky country hideaway in an unknown location to the viewers.

Earlier this year Mr Roberts took part in the show which claims it 'scientifically' matches people together who then meet for the first time on their wedding day.

Mr Roberts was head over heels when he met his wife April Banbury for the very first time on their wedding day.

George Robert's 'tell-all documentary'

But the 40-year-old hasn't sworn off television appearances altogether.

Since the show came to an end he said he was set to release a tell-all documentary which is being produced by Emanation Films.

Married at First Sight aired throughout Autumn and amassed a whopping 51.7 million views, which made it All 4's biggest show this year.

After his arrest, a spokesperson from the Metropolitan Police said: "A 40-year-old man was arrested by Met officers in Worcestershire on Thursday, September 29, on suspicion of controlling and coercive behaviour.

"He was taken to a Worcestershire police station and subsequently bailed to return pending further enquiries.

"This follows an allegation of controlling and coercive behaviour and harassment reported to the Met on Monday, 26 September."
