THE opening date for Malvern's newest supermarket is not far away now.
After months of building work, the new store near Malvern Retail Park is almost ready to open next month.
The main bulk of the structure has been completed, though the landscaping on what will become the store's car park still has yet to be finished.
New photos show the inside of the building, which has yet to be installed.
When finished, the Townsend Way site will be Malvern's newest supermarket.
Despite work nearing completion, an Aldi spokesperson said they were unable to confirm exactly when the store would open.
Work on the supermarket began earlier this year, with Aldi beginning to hire and arrange training for new staff soon after plans were approved by Malvern Hills District Council for the work.
Located next to Malvern Retail Park, its presence means there will be two supermarkets in close proximity, with Morrisons just the other side of Roman Way.
It is hoped 30 new jobs will be created when the store opens, with Aldi beginning to hire staff and set up training for them throughout the summer.
Signs were put up in and around the town advertising the new jobs, which included both sales assistants and store managers.
Training for the new roles was scheduled to take place at the Aldi branches in Worcester in Tybridge Street, Pheasant Street and Bath Road.
