A FLOWER shop in Malvern has made the difficult decision to close its doors due to "ill health".
Floral Arts Design by Carolyn, on Barnard's Green Road, announced that it will be closing its doors on November 15.
The shop made personalised floral arrangements for all occasions.
Carolyn Carpenter, owner of the business, said that she is going to miss her customers "so much" when she has to close.
She said:"It is with great sadness that unfortunately, the shop will be closing down due to ill health.
"As of October 18, I will be selling off stock until I close on November 15.
"I cannot thank all my customers who have supported me over the last 3 years. I am going to miss you all very much."
The shop has been temporarily closed since Monday, October 3 and will reopen its doors on Tuesday, October 18 for its final trading period.
The news of the closure has been met with shock from loyal customers, who have been leaving their comments on the shop's Facebook page.
One comment said:"I’m so sorry to hear this Carolyn. Hope you’re ok, will pop in before you go."
Another commenter expressed how "wonderful" the floral arrangements have been for her when she has shopped at the store.
They said:"Oh this is so sad to hear you have made me some wonderful things over the last couple of years.
Earlier this year, the shop displayed a decorative storefront celebrating the Platinum Jubilee for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.
The storefront has been regularly decorated for past events such as Mother's Day, Christmas and Halloween.
