A NUMBER of former shops and business sites are up for sale in Malvern currently.
Commercial estate agents AMT Commercial currently has five premises for sale in the town, each a former business which has moved or closed.
Here we are taking a look at each one - what would you like to see go in their place?
19 and 21 Church Street
These units used to form the Malvern Tourist Information Centre, which closed down in 2019 to move to the Lyttleton Well.
Advertised by AMT for a lease of £25,000 per annum, the "very attractive" building includes a ground floor space of 1270 sq.ft /118 sq.m.
The property will be available from October/November 2022 according to the AMT website.
Former Barclays Bank, 2-4 Worcester Road
The former site of Barclays, which closed in late 2021, is being advertised as available for a £27,500 lease per annum or a flat price of £375,000.
It said: "These former Banking Hall premises are very attractive and lend themselves to many uses including restaurant, bar, office, showroom etc subject to any required planning and licence requirements."
Barclays closed the branch last August, saying reduced footfall made it unviable.
32 Church Street - Former A-Plan office
The former A-Plan insurance office in Church Street has been vacant since the business moved to 101 Church Street.
AMT is advertising the office for a £16,500 per annum lease and includes the ground floor property and rear parking spaces.
Former Gallery 36 restaurant - Belle Vue Terrace
This unit is the site of what was Gallery 36 and has gone on sale following its closure earlier this month.
The previous owners closed because of the rising cost of utilities.
AMT is advertising the site as available for £275,000.
Empty unit at Brays - 39 Worcester Road
This unit is one of the vacant shop units at what was the Brays department store.
Since the revamp of Brays in 2020, a number of shops have opened up with this one advertised with a £21,000 per annum rate.
All these properties can be viewed online via AMT's website.
