MALVERN director of rugby Dave Robins is hoping that the two week enforced break will have no ill-effects on his players as they look to close out the Midlands Two West title.
The Spring Lane side are three points clear at the summit with three games to play and victory at Bromsgrove tomorrow (3pm) could see them on verge of being crowned champions.
With second-placed Hereford travelling to third-placed Walsall tomorrow the Midlands Two West title quest is set to be whittled down to a two-horse race with Malvern the hot favourites.
But Robins is expecting no easy run at Finstall Park.
"Bromsgrove gave us a close run in the North Midlands Cup a few weeks ago so we know that it won't be easy," the Spring Lane chief said.
"We have also had two weeks off because of cup games and Easter and I firmly believe to keep your players on the boil you need to be playing every single Saturday of the season.
"It's human nature that when you are not playing Saturday then you don't train properly or not at all so we have to make sure that we are on top of game at Broms-grove.
"This is a massive game, not just because it could move closer to winning the title, but because it is a local derby and we will give Bromsgrove the greatest of respect."
Robins has welcomed back wing Ryan Henshaw from a two-week hamstring injury lay-off, while inside centre Richard Fleming is back in the starting line-up after missing the past six weeks with a thigh injury.
Should Malvern complete the double over Bromsgrove, then the home clash with Burton on Saturday April 12 could see the Spring Lane side being crowned champions.
