There is just 24 hours left to nominate someone for our Worcestershire Health and Social Care Awards.

We are looking for those in the care and health sectors that have gone the extra mile for their patients.

It may be a care home worker, a GP, a mental health nurse, or someone who works in a domiciliary role in one of our hospitals or homes.

It only takes five minutes to nominate someone - so please take the time today.

There are 12 categories and we are particularly keen to read about care home workers, care trainers, mental health workers, domiciliary care workers and those who work with adolescent and child services.

Nominations can come from patients, colleagues, friends or family. The deadline for nominations is Friday, July 22.

We have launched these awards across all of our titles in Worcestershire - Worcester News, Malvern Gazette, Evesham Journal, Bromsgrove & Droitwich Advertiser, Redditch Advertiser and The Shuttle.

Across our city, towns and villages we will together shine a light on this vital sector and all those who work in it. Our awards will honour all the incredible health and care workers both at individual and team level, who are at the heart of our communities.
