AN ICONIC Eastenders and Coronation Street actress shared pictures of her trip to Malvern.

Michelle Collins, who played Cindy Beale in Eastenders and Stella Price in Coronation Street, treated followers to pictures from her recent visit to Malvern after she was in the area for a performance of Cluedo: The Stage Play at Malvern Theatres.

She posed for the camera in front of the Great Malvern Abbey, The Abbey Hotel, and also stopped for a picture with a member of the Malvern safer neighbourhood policing team.

One of her captions said: "Great Malvern Abbey, can you believe this is after 9.40 pm? The night sky's beautiful light looks like a painting.

"Touring can be tough physically and mentally, being away from home isn’t always easy but you do get to see some amazing places."

The actress also took time to praise The Abbey Hotel whilst she stayed in town. 

She said: "Finished today in Malvern Theatres. Thank you to The Abbey Hotel, I had a wonderful week here.

"If you want a staycation you'll love it, walks, the Malvern Hills, pubs, coffee shops and culture. It’s all here.

"It’s actually not as spooky as it looks here in this picture, I promise."

Cluedo: The Stage Play is a comedy thriller based on the 1985 film Clue and the classic board game.

Michelle starred as Miss Scarlett in the production, which featured at Malvern Theatres from June 20 to June 25.
