MALVERN director of rugby David Robins was jubilant after his side's 15-13 victory at Hereford.
He said: "Before the match I told the lads that the team that wanted it most would win the game, and they all stood up to be counted.
"Every single man out there in a Malvern shirt laid his body on the line time after time as we defended for the whole of the first-half.
"When we turned round only eight points down at the break there was a collective belief that we could win it, and despite Hereford's breakaway try, we ground our way back to take the spoils."
Malvern visit Cheltenham North on Saturday (2.15pm) and Robins said: "They are notoriously difficult to beat at home and play a hard, typical Gloucestershire physical game."
