A 70-year-old woman has required medical attention after a house fire at a property in Welland.
Emergency services were called to the house fire on Giffard Drive earlier this morning following reports of the fire.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue, West Mercia Poice and West Midlands Ambulance Service were all in attendance.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue said: "We first received the call at approximately 10.35am regarding a fire at a property in Welland.
"We deployed two crews from Malvern and one crew from Upton-upon-Severn to attend the scene.
"On arrival, we discovered the fire was in the kitchen and a woman in her 70's required medical attention for smoke inhalation.
"All persons were accounted for and the fire was extinguished. Our crews left the scene at 11.26am."
