A POPULAR charity walking challenge is taking place across the Malvern Hills this weekend.
The Malvern Mayor's Peaks Challenge gets underway on Saturday, April 30, and sees walkers tackle the 17 peaks along the hills raising money for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal
Walkers will be transported to the starting point and given a t-shirt and medal for completing the walk, plus a rosette for any pets that complete the walk.
Starting at Chase End Hill or British Camp, both walks follow the ridgeline to North Malvern Hill and end in the car park of the Mount Pleasant Hotel, where finishers will be presented with their medals.
Malvern Town Council thanked local companies English Braids, the Mount Pleasant Hotel - home of the Mulberry Tree restaurant and Austin & Co for sponsoring the event, as their support has meant that all the ticket entry fees will go directly to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal
Anyone wishing to sponsor those taking on the challenge can go to the Just Giving Page https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/mayorspeakschallenge
