According to one.network, the roadworks are for a "new soakaway" on the verge.
A soakaway is a depression in the earth's surface into which waters flow and naturally drains.
The works are located near Pickersleigh Avenue by the Morgan Motor Company.
The multi-way signals are set to remain in place between 9.30am and 3.30pm every day.
The works are set to finish at 3.30pSoakm on Friday (April 29).
