THE long-awaited £500,000 play area in Malvern's Priory Park is set to open to the public at last.
The revamped play area has been fenced off since January, but April 15 will see it finally open to the public.
All-new play equipment has been installed, including natural boulders, hobbit holes, a hollow tree trunk, rope bridge, basket swing and a giant dragonfly.
When finished, the play area will include natural boulders, hobbit holes, a hollow tree trunk, rope bridge, basket swing and a giant dragonfly.
The project has been a long time in the making, with several years of discussions into updating it.
A consultation as far back as 2016 revealed the need for a more modern and more inspiring play area was needed.
Following the opening on April 15, the official grand opening is due to take place in May.
