More than a thousand homes and businesses have been without power in Malvern as Storm Eunice continues to batter Worcestershire.

Western Power Distribution said 1,057 properties were without power earlier but the majority have now had power restored, with just one property still off supply.

Worcestershire Highways shared a picture of a fallen tree on the B4208 in Castlemorton earlier but said it had now been cleared.

Malvern Hills District Council says it is opening its emergency shelters tonight to support those sleeping rough during Storm Eunice.

If you spot someone sleeping rough in the area, you can call the council on 01386 565020 until 5pm, then 01562 733 175. Someone from the shelter can then go out to offer help.
