A ROAD in Malvern is completely blocked after a tree fell down in strong winds.

Priory Road is blocked between Clarence Road and Woodshears Road.

As a result, residents are being told to avoid the area and find alternate routes while the situation is dealt with.

Malvern's policing team took to Twitter to share the news.

Their tweet said: "Tree down Priory Road, between Clarence Road & Woodshears Road.

"Road completely blocked, please avoid and take a different route.

"We will let you know when the tree is removed."
