HERE is the latest batch of pictures in our nostalgia series in the Malvern Gazette, where we look back at some of the faces and places that have made the news in the town through the years.
Reader Tony Perkins got in touch regarding the picture of Malvern Youth football team: "It was nice to see this old photo, which brings back happy memories of the local football from long ago. Sadly minor football has almost disappeared, not just locally, but all over the nation.
"I'm afraid it's just a sign of the times unfortunately."
The revisited picture of Malvern Link Youth Club in the 1949-50 season prompted reader Tony Perkins to get in touch to put names to three of the unidentified faces - Malcolm Davies, Massa Hall and finally, his brother Rex Perkins
