Sandie Clarke, nee Thomas, sent this picture, which made the front page of the Gazette in May 1970. It was taken at Dinmore Manor House, Herefordshire. The occasion was a fundraising event in aid of the Red Cross where the dresses worn by myself and friends were auctioned off. The dresses worn were donated by Mrs Susan Gibb, owner of The Pink Dalmatian Boutique in Great Malvern. Models, front to back, are Anthea Kelly, Jean Ash, Sue Lickess, Jo Carey and Sandie Thomas

Anita Heap sent these pictures to the Gazette in August 2002. They show the workforce of Lampitt’s of Malvern enjoying a day out in 1950.The picture taken inside the coach includes Cliff Lampitt, a well-known builder at that time, and Mrs Heap’s father, Harry Jenkins, who was electrical contractor to Mr Lampitt. Sitting alongside Mr Lampitt is Gus Holt, who for many years worked for Mrs Heap’s grandfather, John Morgan, the blacksmith in Barnards Green
